 Population

Each year the program serves 400 youth at risk (boys and girls) aged 14-19 who have been referred to the organization by neighborhood social workers who identify runaway, delinquent religious youth roaming the streets. These youth come from throughout Israel – Jerusalem, Modiin, Modiin Ilit, Beit Shemesh, Petach Tikvah, Bnei Brak, Ashdod, Elad, and Yehuda and Shomron. Some of these teens suffer from functioning difficulties, and therefore seek alternative stimulation which is often detrimental. They fail to fit in educationally or socially and have no faith in their ability to change this situation. Many youth suffer from various social, emotional, cognitive and family deprivations at different levels of severity, causing an array of behavior.
